We are looking for a Civil Engineer to fill a vacancy in our Windhoek Office.

Key Activities and Performance Areas:

• Engineer to work on a variety of civil engineering, water supply and wastewater projects.
• Project management. Preparing designs and contract documents for- and supervision of projects.
• Client liaison and reporting. Liaison and coordination with project teams (internal and external).

Key Requirements:

• Namibian Citizen or a valid work permit.
• BSc (Eng.) / B.Eng. degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised university.
• Registration with the Engineering Council of Namibia as a Professional Engineer.
• At least 10 years post graduate experience in the civil engineering environment, preferably in the consulting field.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microsoft software, incl. MS Project. Proficiency with Prokon, WaterGEMS and Surge Analyses will be an advantage.

• Have a valid driver’s license and own transport.
• Be willing to travel from time to time to work on projects outside of Windhoek.
• Be available to commence employment as soon as possible.

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes:

The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:

• Be a Namibian Citizen, or have a valid work permit,
• Have a BSc (Eng)/BTech degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised University/Technicon,
• Be registered or eligible for registration with the Engineering Council of Namibia,
• Have at least 5 years post graduate experience in the Civil Engineering environment, preferably in consulting and preferably including contract supervision and administration,
• Be responsible and self motivated,

• Be able to work independently,
• Be a team player,
